Jane's Walk

I’m doing a Jane’s Walk in London, Ontario, Canada on Friday May 1st.

Jane’s Walk is an international festival of free, citizen-led walking conversations inspired by Jane Jacobs.

If you’ve never heard of Jane Jacobs, she revolutionized the way we think about cities with a book she published in 1961 called The Death and Life of Great American Cities. Look her up, she is amazing.

The walk will start at 5 pm, at the back of Museum London.

The theme of this walk is London 200 (and beyond!) The walk will run along the perimeter of the original Town Plot of London from 1826. I’d like to talk about London’s past, what was here before London, what is here now, and what could be in the future.

My goal is for the walk to take 2 hours but it could be more like 2 and a half.

Register here for the walk.
